The top four men from last year’s series ride, as Scott Walker (3rd) and Julian Ramsbottom have also entered. Hill climb champions past and present, Gunnar Gronlund (RST Clothing/Trigon bikes) and Matt Clinton have entered. Top GB rider Sam Harrison on the way back from injury and a winner last weekend in a 10 is also on the start sheet and at the other end of the age spectrum, the evergreen vet Geoff Platts is down to race. The second placed woman from the 2011 series, Rebecca Slack also rides.

TURN LEFT also sign posted Maidford, Adstone. (1.9 miles) Continue through Maidford, Adstone, Canons Ashby, and Moreton Pinkney to junction at Magpie Farm between Sulgrave and Thorpe Mandeville. (10.7 miles)
