Matt Bottrill & Matt Clinton lead the charge on the roads used for the CiCLE Classic in the Leicestershire RC Open Hilly 29 mile time trial on Easter Monday April 9th

COURSE AH/10
Start in 2nd layby opp. TP No 11 in unclassified road between South Croxton and Syston, approx. 1/2 mile east of Barkby/Queniborough junction. Proceed east (beware oncoming traffic) to South Croxton where 1st right (M) on entering village (beware farm entrance on L and manhole on corner on racing line)
Carry on to Beeby, turn left (M)1/2 mile after village. Proceed to Keyham Lane, Billesdon Coplow (left) (M) and left again (M) at junction B6047 to Tilton-on-the-Hill. Right (M) at Tilton-on-the-Hill, then bear left (M) at the Church, towards Oakham, taking 2nd left (M) (2 miles after leaving Tilton), to Owston and Somerby. (Great care through bends in Owston.)
Carry straight on (M) at “T” in Somerby (care) to turn left (M) 1/2 mile beyond Pickwell Village.
Bear left (M) at bottom of next descent (beware gravel on corner and narrow, poor surface) and keeping left at all junctions (passing Moscow Farm) follow unclassified road to Burrough-on-the-Hill.
Turn right (M) at junction (care), to T junction in Twyford where left (M) on B6047. At top of hill out of Twyford turn right (M) (care).
Proceed to finish at drain opposite field entrance halfway between TP No 8 and first “Reduce Speed Now” sign, just after entrance to cemetery and within sight of narrow bridge on the approach to Queniborough. 28.8mls approx.
To return to HQ:- Continue through Queniborough to T junction with A607, where Left to Syston and then right to HQ in Broad Street just before rail bridge.
