Eighty riders will be tackling the Mendips hills on Sunday 15th July in a race for 2,3,4 riders that was won last year by James Dobbin of Adeo Cadence.

The race is one of the toughest in southern England over a race distance of 60 miles where competitors will ascend 1,367 metres as they circle the Mendips in ever decreasing circles, meaning that riders have a shorter rest between the climbs each lap.
Starting from Priddy, the riders descended to Chew Valley Lake and then tackled the undulating road to Blagdon before ascending the route’s first climb of Burrington Combe, followed by Two trees Hill in Blagdon , Harptree and finally finishing on Smitham’s Hill.
With strong performances of local riders, this years events look to a close fought event. Online entry is available and the closing date for the event is 24th June with road race places filling quick, best to enter as soon as you can to secure a place !
