Two days after being joined by new captain, Davide Rebellin, David Mclean’s Meridiana Team were off to Greece to compete in the Tour of Ellas.

David Mclean worked hard on Stage one to defend the two man breakaway that included Rebellin, who eventually finished second. Stage 2 had an even happier ending. Mclean and his team-mate suscefully protected a breakaway, which included Meridiana rider Enrico Rossi.
Rossi repaid the team for the hard work by winning the sprint and the stage. The Tour of Ellas finishes on Sunday in Athens. The next tour for David Mclean and the Meridiana Team wil be the Tour of Slovakia from the 5th to the 9th of June.
