This weekend was yet another successful one for the Hargroves Cycles team around the country.

Dan Tulett took a great win in the North West Youth Tour, winning the Under 14 age group and the first person ever to do it as a first year! Dan seems to be carrying on from the cross season this year and has become unstoppable!
Crispin Doyle took the win in the Masters category at Round 5 of the Southern MTB XC at Crow Hill in fine style opening the gap up on the rider in second every lap. Andy Hargroves also took the win in the Sport category, his first mountain bike race of the season as he starts preparation for Mountain Mayhem.
On the road, Ian Field, Jody Crawforth and Harry Franklin took on the SERRL 3 day stage race in Kent. A gruelling race at the best of times, the weather made it ten times worse. But the race was a success at some point for every rider and coming into the last day, the team had two riders in contention for a podium.
Jody took 4th on stage 2 with Ian 12th. Jody then took a well deserved second on the final stage with Harry also making the top 10. Ian had a final day to forget crashing and breaking a wheel. But fighting back and making it back to the peloton to roll home. Considering they were competing against professional teams, they made a very good impression of themselves.
