News: Annual Parham Kermesse 2012

August 25 sees the third running for the event at Storrington and the organisers are hoping this year it will be the biggest and best yet.

The Parham Kermesse is staged on partly closed roads that run through the beautiful grounds of Parham House in Storrington. We are afforded this magnificent facility by the trustees of the house and use it to its best by having the finish within the grounds on the hill in front of the house.

The course is a mixture of surfaces with some patches of gravel road and even a cattle grid, giving it more of a Belgian feel than a British road race. The race is run as part of the Surrey League and can be entered via their website – www.surreyleague.co.uk
