News: Wiggins “Froome has the potenial to win the Tour”

Brad Wiggins at the Team Sky press conference on the rest day is reported to have said “Chris Froome has the potential to win the Tour, without doubt.”

“Chris will win the Tour some day and I will be there to help” admitted Wiggins in Pau at the team Sky Press conference. The team he insisted is a united and cohesive unit. “We’ve been together all year and now here. Whatever happens, I am part of this team and want to stay here until the end of my career.”

“The aim will be to achieve success and I will want to be here to be with them whatever the composition of it next year and no matter who the leaders are” he said. “What will I do if I win on Sunday? I will concentrate on the time trial of the Olympic Games and when all is over, I go back to my home, come back to reality and go and buy bread and milk.”
