Result: Westmead Team ’88′

Declan Byrne beats Sarah Storey by 9 secs to win Westmead Team ’88′ club 10 mile time trial on Wedensday night

A great turn out with the fine weather and lots of cyclists being inspired by recent events. Sarah Storey of For Viored, on good form, set a great benchmark for the evening, starting early in the field and returning a time of 21 mins 37 seconds.

Several came close to beating this, namely John Butterworth of VC St Raphael with 21min 52secs and Gerry Cross from Manchester Wheelers with 21 min 49secs but first place honours went to Declan Byrne from Cycle Premier Kovert, off no 48 of 50 starters with a time of 21min 28secs.
