News: Tour Series Meets Cycle Show

Billed as the being among the richest Circuit Races in Britain, a taste of the Tour Series comes to the Cycle Show at the end of September

The Cycle Show at the NEC (27-30 Sept) have teamed with the organisers of The Tour of Britain to organize an end-of-season super crit featuring an elite men’s race along with a women’s event and youth races using closed roads within the NEC network.

The Tour Series in Woking where Zak Dempster (Endura Racing) was the winner. The final big money crit of the year will be at the NEC near Birmingham at the end of September.

The races on a 1.3 kilometre circuit will start and finish from outside the show and the feature the full ToB race set-up and race vehicles from the top UK teams. There’s a total prize value of over £7,000 up for grabs making it amongst the richest races in the UK this year. Confirmed teams for the elite men’s race include Rapha Condor, Node4-Giordana, Team UK Youth, Raleigh-GAC, Team IG – Sigma Sport and Cycle Premier.
