Team Press Release

The lads have lived the dream and raced at the highest level, securing a win on Saturday for Josh Knights, beating the Belgian national champion into second place at Kender Kempen. Tom and Matt were 9th and 10th and the guys took the team competition.

They have had a string of top ten places with Matt also getting a well deserved 3rd from a race long break. Again the lads won the team competition. It was a great learning experience and great preparation for the Junior Tour of Wales next week where they will be joined by James Knox who has been training in the Alps.

Meanwhile, Jack Sadler represented Ireland at the European Junior road championships in Zeeland Holland. That was another great learning experience which saw Jack come 50th out of 176 starters and one of only 30 who didn’t crash. Jack was desperate to get up at the finish however the frantic, crash, chase, crash chase tempo of the race prevented the team pulling a train together. Next year, the Worlds in Florence is the aim.

After returning on Monday night, Jack was straight back into action taking the bunch sprint for 3rd at the Salt Ayre Cycling Assoc. senior league on Tuesday night and securing the overall series win. Matt Flynn was third overall. Great team effort all season for the first year juniors. Back next season stronger and with more tools in the tool box.

On Sunday, Jack Sadler rides the Irish Junior National championship in Dundalk, Ireland.

Thanks to Mountivation and all our sponsors, Bioracer, Onix Bikes, CNP, and Schwalbe for making it possible.
