The eight new category ranges for 2013 include Performance Road, Endurance Road, Classic Road, Mountain bikes, Lifestyle, Classic Style, Electric bikes and Kids’ Bikes, all of which can be found at stand E11 at the NEC Cycle Show. As a distribution company, Raleigh will also bring over 30 different parts and accessory brands to the show, providing UK cycle dealers with a comprehensive offering across almost all product categories.
In terms of its new 2013 bikes, Raleigh’s Product Manager, Terry Blackwood said: “It’s no easy task to improve on 125 years of history and heritage but our motto this year has been ‘Because it’s a Raleigh’. We are taking Raleigh back to where it belongs with innovative and reliable products that perform day in, day out.”
Across our Road, Lifestyle, Entry-level MTB, Classic and Children’s bike markets we now have some very competitive and attractive products. Early indications tell us we’ve got that ‘wow factor’ back so we’re looking forward to getting these bikes in front of people at the NEC.”
Members of the public will have the chance to test ride a selection of 2013 bikes on the NEC Cycle Show demo track including the SP COMP, SP RACE, REVENIO 2, REVENIO 3 and the CAPRI. Cycle racing fans will have the chance to see Raleigh’s professional racing team in action at the show. Graham Briggs, Liam Holohan, Tobyn Horton, Jeroen Janssen, Evan Oliphant and Matthew Holmes will be competing on their Raleigh Militis race bikes for Raleigh-GAC in Saturday’s evening criterium.
Graham Briggs will also be taking part in a Q&A session on the main stage with Eurosport Commentator David Harmon at 12.45pm each day.
For cycle dealers Raleigh will be displaying parts and accessories from over 30 of the ranges it distributes, including house brands such as Diamondback, Avenir and RSP, plus other well-known brands such as Uvex, Meqix, MOA, Trion:z, Selle Royal, Unior, Sigma, Motorex, Muc Off, Slime, Squire and SKS.
What’s more, to celebrate Raleigh’s biggest ever presence at the Cycle Show they are giving away a load of prizes. All visitors to the Raleigh stand have the chance to win £600 worth of Raleigh and Diamondback bikes, over £350 of parts and accessories and a Diamondback BMX Ben Hucke signature frame.
