TEAM PRESS RELEASE
Since receiving this great news team manager, Marcus Nainby has been working away behind the scenes in implementing the infrastructure required for elite level athletes. This has suitably been rewarded by the signing of some great names of women’s racing.

This team started late last year on a relatively small scale with the aim of finding out more about the women’s racing scene and what they found was something they would really like to be a part of in a bigger way. It is fantastic to see a large multinational company such as WNT investing in our sport.

WNT are a manufacturer and distributor of metal cutting tools for the machining industry and have offices worldwide. As a company they already have a passion for cycling organising many customer and staff events. The team are pleased to announce their riders for the up and coming season are,

Elite team
Charline Joiner
Hannah Walker
Jo Tindley
Lydia Boylan
Brit Tate
Lauryn Therin
Becca Carter

Development team
Sam Burman
Rose Osbourne
Sophie Lankford

Regional riders
Elisa McDonagh
Victoria Williams

The main aims of Team WNT will be the Tour Series, the national road series and all major televised criteriums and feel they have a team that will give them a presence at the head of the peloton. Whilst these are strong aims of the team, WNT as a company would really like to involve their customers with the team and the races, through invites to attend events as VIP’s. If you are a WNT customer ask your technical sales engineer for more details.

Partnering the team are Hope Technology, the guys at Hope have been invaluable in helping set the Elite team up. WNT and Hope have a very strong working relationship and the team are pleased to carry this on using a range of their finely machined products.

“I feel we’ve come a long way in the last few months and can’t wait for the new season. None of this would be possible without the help of Tony Pennington MD of WNT. I’m excited to be working with my good friend Rick Lister who is our director sportif. I also need to say a special thanks to Rachael Walker from Hope, James Champion from Madison for the Shimano and Lazer support, John Cookson from USE and Specialized bicycles for our stunning frames” Marcus Nainby.
