Customers of Prendas Ciclismo help the Dave Rayner Fund to the tune of £5000 plus in 2014

News – Prendas Customers Supporting Dave Rayner Fund

During 2014, Prendas started selling the Dave Rayner Fund cap to raise money for a fund that helps support young riders trying to fulfill their dreams to become a full-time professional rider in Europe. Mid-way through the season, they teamed up with Rocket Espresso Milano to release a short sleeve and long sleeve jersey as well as matching bib shorts that also paid a £10 royalty to the fund.

Over £5,000 of royalties have been raised thanks to the customers of Prendas which is an incredible success. Today, the Dave Rayner Fund announced the 31 riders that it will be supporting in 2015. Not only has the money raised helped these young riders make a start on their journey, some of them, like Dan Pearson, Callum Ferguson, Alistair Slater & James Shaw, have been previously helped out by Prendas providing our own-brand accessory clothing too.

Let’s not forget some of the riders that have also benefited from the fund and Prendas in the past: Dan Martin, Dani King, Daniel Lloyd, Nikki Harris, David Clarke, Matt Brammeier, Dan McLay and the list goes on!
