Last year’s winner Ben Luckwell back to defend title at Echelon Cycles Road race on Sunday, 17th April 2011.
Last year’s winner Ben Luckwell will be aiming to defend his title on Sunday in the Echelon Cycles Road Race backed by full strength Willier:goselfdrive.com squad. The eight-rider team will provide formidable opposition for a field including elite riders Richard Bott and Ian Taylor (Herbalife/Wheelbase) and Lee Davis (Motorpoint/Marshall Pasta).
The 5th running of the event will once again be held over 79 miles, 5 laps, of the Welland circuit in the shadow of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. The race starts at 10.30am from Welland Parish Hall with the finish on Castlemorton Common around 2pm. Additional prizes have been donated by sponsor Echelon Cycles of Pershore.
