Thursday 21st July 2011 – The rain held off for our 36 riders tonight and it was Jay Eastwood(Hargrove Cycles) who again took 1st place and secured his place as GC winner of this 6th series with 1 race to go counting for points. Ian Legg(Felt Colbores) of Tour Series fame was second with previous GC winner Roland Tilley(RideBikeUK) a close third.
I learnt that Eddy Merkx is holding a Sportive – 60 and 100 miles starting from Cricket St Thomas with a pits stop at Top-o-Town car park Dorchester this Sunday morning. Eddy will be riding.
