On the weekend before the Junior Tour of Wales, Ogmore Valley Wheelers are promoting the Wasp Road Race, with a new course this year featuring a mountain-top finish making for an ideal test for riders preparing for the Junior Tour of Wales. After a mainly flat route the race will finish up the Bwlch mountain road in Ogmore Vale, providing a similar finish to the crucial mountain stages of the Junior Tour. Entries are still available by post for 2/3/4 cat riders:
