The Raleigh Company, which is celebrating it’s 125th Anniversary in 2012, Team Raleigh continues to look to its cycle racing team as an important part of the company’s marketing strategy. Plans are already in place for the team to step up next season and have secured increased support from Raleigh and it’s current sponsors.
With the latter half of the 2011 season ahead and Britain’s biggest pro race, The Tour of Britain, taking place in September, team Directors Cherie Pridham and Eddie White are already contacting riders for 2012 season and are interested to hear from any UK or international rider who are looking to ride for one of the iconic brands in the World of cyclesport. The USA and Canadian markets are of particular importance to Raleigh and good calibre riders from these countries are an essential part of building the team for the future.
Cherie Pridham (Team Director) says “We are very pleased with the achievements of Team Raleigh during the 2011 season but we are a very ambitious team and to move forward we need to considerably strengthen the team to give Raleigh and its sponsors a much higher profile and more success for the 2012 season”.
