The organiser would like to thank Andy Chatterton and Andrew Pailor for their very generous donation to the race budget also the lap prime donators, Gerry Watson, Ron Best, Facchini Cycles and Colin Armstrong. The officials; Ken Bainbridge who came out of retirement to Judge and John Grant for his timekeeping duties and all the members and friends of Hartlepool CC who turned out to assist. I had an apology from the carnival King and Queen for non-attendance which was due to an internal problem within the Carnival committee. I know some of the prizewinners were disappointed with me actually handing over the envelopes without a kiss!
Make an entry in your race diary for the 50th edition of this race Friday 10th August 2012 to make sure I don’t have the same problem drumming up the entry in the last few days as this year.
