Martin Boakes of CC Luton and Karla Boddy of High Wycombe the winners on an eventful day of crashes.Â
There was a nasty crash in the final 100m of the Women’s event resulting in two riders going to Hospital, Eleanor Garratt (Offcamber) and Lucy Grimstead (Wyndymilla) both requiring stitches.
Karla Boddy (High Wycombe CC) was the winner of the event.
In the category 2/3/4 event, with just 3 laps completed, another major crash meant the cancelling of the event with another rider having to go to hospital. Reports are his chain jammed or jumped when changing gear.
