Bike Porn: Graham Briggs Champion Condor

VeloUK takes a look at the new Condor bike for British Circuit Race Champion Graham Briggs …Winning a British Championship with the Rapha Condor Sharp team means a new bike and it didn’t take long for Graham Briggs to turn up with his new stead. The  new Leggero in all white with Red and Blue bands is according to Graham, the latest version using the same Dedacciai tubing as before but with internal cables.

The 46cm off the peg Condor frame has more ‘bling’ to come with white bars and seat post to replace the PRO Vibe carbon seatpost and PRO Vibe 7S stem and handlebars wrapped with Fizik custom pro tape that he already has. The bike is already fitted with the white cables to go with the all white look of the frameset. Groupset is Shimano Dura Ace 7900 and Graham explained they are lucky enough to have that on both their race and training bikes. He added the only difference between the race and training bikes are the wheels.

His Dura Ace C35 wheels were medium deep section wheels shod with Continental competition tubulars which Graham says he’s always used as they are so grippy, especially in the wet. For a crit like York, he says he puts around 120lb or 9 bar in them and if its wet, then let around 20lb of that air out.

On the wish list for next year is the electric gears …

And his verdict on the bike … ‘champion’ of course… it takes one to know one!

Elite bottle cage…

Some red and blue go faster stripes for the already speedy rider …

Internal cables …

Handmade Continental tubulars…

Shimano Dura Ace groupset and wheels.

No, not part of the bike but the bonus for winning… which Graham’s teammate Ed Clancy did … just wondering who got to have two slices… I think we should be told!
