Third straight win for Giles Drake in the Liverpool Mercury CC event at Stadt Moers Country Park in Whiston on Sunday.

Notching up his third league win in a row, Giles Drake (Team Elite) won the Liverpool Mercury round of the North West League promoted by Liverpool Mercury CC at Stadt Moers Country Park in Whiston. Drake, 27 and from the Wirral, edged ahead of event Junior rider and event favourite Thomas Armstrong (Wheelbase) in a tight sprint to take the win and add to his overall points tally for the league.
