The 4th race of the Northants Cycle Racing Association’s Early Spring Handicaps series was run over 3 laps of the 10 mile Old circuit, in warm, sunny conditions on Saturday March 24th.

Once again, the long markers were so well organised that they stayed away from the rest of the field. A group of 19 riders came in together in 1.11.52. First over the line was James Hyde of Numplumz Mountain Bikers, closely followed by Warren Drew of Rockingham Forest Wheelers, and Jaap Flikweert of Fenland Clarion CC.
Next was Mark Greenway of Peterborough CC, Chantelle Rothe of 45 Road Club, Vic Barnett of Welland Valley CC, Oliver Laverack of Peterborough CC, Ian Dick of Rockingham Forest Wheelers, with Paul Ashdown and Stuart Walters of Kettering CC making up the first ten riders.
