Photo Album and a photographers lament: Stage 3

Some picture highlights …

Starting off with with a little bitching, lead car in the same straight as the sprint… should not be so! Lapped riders didn’t make getting the shot easy either but we got there in the end.

Aussie, Aussie …. Richard Lang and Ben Grenda alongside Chris Opie for stage 2.

One of the smaller budget teams, VanillaBikes.com whose colours were seen at the front of the race on many occassions.

After the mickey taking of your’s truly, came the team talk in the form of some one liners from the master himself, John Herety… thank you John, most enlightening!

Great to see royalty back in the peloton, Aussie Dean ‘The Duke’ Windsor, racing this season for Endura Racing seen getting some energy via his Science in Sport bars used by Endura Racing and other teams like Rapha Condor Sharp.

Thumbs up from Raleigh GAC’s Daniel Holloway with the team not only making the podium on several occassions but also happy to attack on the road and try and break the monopoly of Endura Racing.

Teamwork; Dean Windsor (right) pulls aside and lets his team leader for the stage Scott Thwaites take up the running. Mark Renshaw would be proud Deano! Mark and Dean both come from Bathurst in Australia.

DoonHame saw us see the bunch sprinter Rico Rogers (in Node 4 orange) strut his stuff in the sprint behind the three riders in front. Rico is an Australian based New Zealander.

Great to see a young rider given his chance to show what he can do. After no wins with the GB Academy, Erick Rowsell has now won two already in 2012, in France (Normandy) and Britain.

The wilds of Scotland, lovely scenary, shame about the weather! The break on stage 1 and the team cars behind dualling to feed their riders.
