Shock at Salt Ayre as Jack Sadler is beaten in round 9 of the Vanillabikes.com circuit series on June 5th as Jonathan Knox wins senior race.

The rain held off at Salt Ayre despite threatening all day but rider numbers were still down due to the Jubillee holiday. An early attack by Jonny Knox (Kent Valley RC), Neil Robinson (Lune RCC) and Sandy Lockett (Biketreks RT) proved successful when they eventually gained half-a-lap and finished in that order.

League leader Jack Sadler (Mountivation JA) won the bunch sprint but was pushed hard by veteran Gary Spencely (Biketreks RT) returning after a crash 2 weeks ago with some scars and a new bike to prove it. First lady was Eve Dixon (Maxgear) finishing just outside the top 10.
