Result: Catford CC Hill Climb

Robert Gough wins what is billed as “the oldest continuing cycle race in the world”, the Catford CC Hill Climb on Sunday morning.

The event which dates back to 1886 is part of a big double header of Hill Climbing in the South East with the afternoon Bec CC event also being held in the area. While the likes of Robert Gough went for the victory, other cycling celebs just wanted it to be over like Sean Yates, director sportif for Team Sky who finished down in 114th place. Perhaps there needs to be a race for Director sportifs next year …
