VeloUK thanks Jim Court and his team of judges for their excellent work during the 2012/13 Cyclo-Cross Season

One thing is for certain, if it wasn’t for Jim Court and his team of judges, riders, commentators and reporters would be left with nothing to talk or write about. Because of their fantastic work we’d like to thank them for their help in bringing you the results of each round of the National Trophy in 2012/13.

Jim’s son Andrew Court (above left) is the mainstay of the judging team who travels with Jim around the country to all the events and is his ‘rock’ as far as result production is concerned. The ‘East Mids Judges’ Jim uses for as many races as possible are Chris Willett, Val Taylor and Pauline Taylor (above).

Jim however does call upon other judging teams at places like Abergavenny (Wales) (Marion Lally and Steve Thomas), Southampton (Alastair Kitto and Garry Evans) and South Shields (Nev Martin and Bev Blakeman).

Jim is full of praise for his team and whilst its Jim that is the person picked out by commentators and reports alike for his help, the head of the team is quick to praise his team saying they are simply the ‘best’ with everyone in the team knowing what’s required now having worked together for so long.

The ‘team’ will be out in force in Bradford to help us bring you the complete results with an efficiency that other organisers will be jealous of.

PS: Our thanks to all the other officials at each of the rounds, especially those we’ve visited for their help too… always familiar faces who are happy to help and have a chat. Look forward to seeing you all next season if not before!
