RESULTS
A field of only 12, including 3 riders who had already completed the 3/4 race, made for a hard race in the conditions especially when Dillon Byrne (Maxgear) attacked from the start-line and kept trying to go it alone only to be eventually pulled back. Neil Robinson (Lune RCC) and James Knox (Champion Systems) then counter-attacked and stayed away with James taking the sprint finish. Dillon then secured 3rd.

Summer’s here! Week 8 of Salt Ayre Series and the first wet Tuesday. Just 22 men started the 3/4 race, no women, they clearly have more sense. Duncan Smith made a good show for the sponsors team, Vanillabikes.com, with an attempt to go alone which looked for a while as though it may succeed but it came down to a bunch sprint with Luke Perkin (Project De-watering) taking his second win of the series from the Cycle Sport Pendle duo of Connor French and Oliver Payton.
