Ian Greenstreet (Newbury RC) won the Newbury RC 10 in 20:15 – defying the strong winds to post a time 21 seconds faster than his nearest competition, Richard Berriman (LeisureLakes).
Claire Kitching (Newbury RC) was the best of the ladies with 26:29. The event also attracted celebrity chef Alan Murchison (Winchester & District AC) who, starting on a “9†without a previous 10 time, finished fifth overall in 21:52.
