A good field of 35 riders taking to the start, with many attacks taking place but none sticking, not untill within the last ten laps when Andrew Bates (Colourtech RT) attacked and and held off the chasers to win, also Mick Bath (A.P.I) jumped away from the bunch only to be caught just before the finish by Damion Foy (Eagle RC) with Damion finishing 2nd and Mike 3rd and the bunch 10 seconds behind them with Bob Downs ( Ropha Condor) taking the bunch sprint.
