INTERVIEW QUESTIONS – WOMEN

Start: Your name & team and what part of the country you live in

1. How long have you been racing either in bunch races or time trials?

2. Have you noticed any changes to the sport of women’s racing in that time?

3. What has been the highlight of 2013 for you?

4. Which race has been the best one to do?

5. Do you coach yourself or have a coach to help structure your training?

6. How many hours a week would you train on and off the bike?

7. Do you work full time/part time, at home looking after the family or a full time bike rider! If working, is it hard to fit in training around daily life?

8. What is the best thing about racing bikes?

9. And what is the one thing you enjoy least!

10. If you could change one of your weaknesses into a strength, which one would it be?

11. What type of bike you do ride and what type of groupset wheels does it have?

12. Are you ‘geeky’ when it comes to the equipment on the bike?

13. What will you doing training wise during the winter – as little as possible or a structured programme based on getting success in 2014?

14. Do you see 2014 being a big year for Women’s racing with a UCI Stage race bringing pro teams here?

15. What is the one thing outside of pedalling the bike that you feel you need to learn to be a better bike rider.

5. Do you coach yourself or have a coach to help structure your training?
6. How many hours a week would you train on and off the bike?
7. Do you tend to train alone or in a chaingang?
8. Do you work full time/part time or a full time bike rider
9. What is the best thing about racing bikes?
10. And what is the one thing you enjoy least!
11. If you could change one of your weaknesses into a strength, which one would it be?
12. What type of bike do you ride and what type of groupset/wheels does it have?
