News: Harris extends contract at Telenet Fidea

British cyclo-cross champion Nikki Harris has extended her contract with Belgian team Telenet Fidea

Nikki Harris has extended her contract at Telnet Fidea Cycling Team for two years up until 31th December 2015. Manager Hans van Kasteren is very satisfied at keeping his star female rider as he gets to keep the best rider in his team.

Nikki is also ecstatic: “I had two other offers, one at Specialized for example. I considered them both as I was thinking of focussing totally on road cycling. For a few weeks now I have realized I am a cyclo-cross rider and will stay a CX rider. I have improved a lot in this season all round, which gives me the confidence to try to win.”

“I dream of bring a World Champion one day. That’s my goal. This is why I am staying with at Telnet Fidea as this is the best choice for my career. Telnet Fidea is by far the best cyclo-cross team. What was important as well is that I was able to improve the condition of my contract. Hans was very happy when I signed” smiled Nikki.
