Eight-time champion of France, Francis Mourey ((FDJ.fr) won the Lanarvily cross with Matthew Boulo (Raleigh) 3rd. Jake Poole was 4th in the Juniors.

From the outset of the senior race, it was Laurent Colombatto (AC Bisontine) and Nicolas Bazin (US Domont) who took the the lead but gradually their lead crumbled in favor of John Gadret (Movistar) and Francis Mourey.

The two riders went man on man out front chased hard by Raleigh’s Matthew Boulo (Raleigh). The win went Mourey who crossed the line a hundred meters ahead of the Movistar rider. Raleigh’s Boulo finished third and first Breton rider.

Highlight for British fans, besides the third of Raleigh’s new signing for 2014, Matthew Boulo, was the 4th by Jake Poole on a (Raleigh bike) in the Junior race and then 9th in the Espoirs. Jack Clarkson meanwhile retired after half an hour of racing with the leaders.
