Team News: Jasmine Dotti signs for Velosport Pasta Montegrappa

Former Servetto Footon rider Jasmine Dotti is the latest addition to the new British based Women’s Team Velosport Pasta Montegrappa

During 2013 the 20 year old from Italy raced with Italian UCI outfit Servetto Footon. Despite her young age, she will bring a wealth of professional experience to the British Team Velosport Pasta Montegrappa, having already competed in races such as the Giro d’Italia Donne and Giro del Trentino.

Team Manager Mauro Pizzol said “We wanted Jasmine in our Team because we believe in her potential. Last year she had a very steep learning curve being immediately selected for the UCI 2.1 Giro d’Italia Donne where she was unfortunately involved in a heavy crash in the last stage.”

“We will certainly benefit from her professional experience. The decision was also welcomed by our Italian sponsor Pasta Montegrappa. Jasmine will join the Team at the official launch at the London Bike Show in February after the end of her cyclocross commitments. We are very happy that she decided to join us”.
