PRESS RELEASE
Coming straight after Raleigh’s in-house trade show in Nottingham, the famous Heron will take flight to the London Bike Show at Excel Arena in London’s docklands between 13-16 February 2014. On display will be Raleigh’s latest performance road, urban and lifestyle bikes, HAIBIKE road, MTB and electric models, plus Uvex, Lusso, Dahon, Burley and OTE from RALEIGH’s extensive range of accessory brands.
Team issue Raleigh Militis.
Raleigh’s Marketing Director Geoff Giddings: “We see the London Bike Show as an important event in our calendar and always welcome the opportunity to talk directly to consumers about the extensive range of new Raleigh bikes and accessories we distribute.
“Performance cycling products form the centrepiece of our Raleigh and Haibike areas where the race-winning Raleigh Militis range and the acclaimed Haibike Xduro electric MTB’s are certain to attract a lot of attention. In addition, Dahon folding bikes, Burley trailers, Uvex helmets, Lusso clothing and the newly launched OTE sports nutrition brand will be amongst the premium brands showcased in our parts and accessories zone.â€
Lots of Revenio models in the Raleigh line up as well.
New performance bikes
With a proud racing heritage and a successful UCI Continental race team to its name, it’s no surprise that Raleigh’s performance and endurance road bike line up is looking so strong. Since their inception in 2012, the Militis and Revenio ranges now feature 15 models, from an elite level £5,000 dream machine to several more budget-friendly alloy race and all-day comfort models, all of which have been scoring highly in reviews this year.
Performance models for Time Trial, Track and Cyclocross disciplines will be on show too, meaning that the Raleigh stand will be on your ‘must-see’ list at the show.
Parts and Accessories
From the wide range of parts and accessories that the company distributes RALEIGH will be showcasing five brands in front of the London Bike Show audience:
DAHON: The folding bike brand that’s a favourite with commuters can be found at stand LB430 with models including the eye-catching Mu, Visc, Jifo and the big wheeled Espresso.
BURLEY: Popular with leisure riders and commuters alike, BURLEY trailers offer a fashionable, all-terrain method of towing cargo. From luggage to little ones, BURLEY trailers bring a solution to lots of different cycle journeys.
UVEX: Head and eyewear protection is essential to today’s cyclists. UVEX has products suited to quick-footed commuters and also kits out the racers of Team Raleigh.
OTE: New from RALEIGH for 2014 is the fast-growing nutrition brand OTE. OTE’s naturally flavoured energy products and recovery drinks have been developed by experienced sports nutritionists and athletes who know exactly what you want and what you need.
LUSSO: Finding a quality high performance UK cycle clothing provider has long been a challenge for UK cyclists but LUSSO clothing has risen to the challenge with a range of cycling wear that always scores highly in reviews.
Paul Cooke RALEIGH’s Parts and Accessories manager said: “Building brands and keeping them in the public eye is important to us so we’re excited to be taking Dahon, Burley, Lusso, Uvex and OTE to the Bike Show and talking to 50,000 consumers about them.”
Visitors to London Cycle Show can find Raleigh bikes at stand LB436, Haibike at LB432 and Raleigh parts and accessory brands at stand LB430.
