Following last years success, the South West Women’s Race Series is back, bigger and better than ever for the 2014 season.

News – Kalas South West Women’s Race Series

The series organisers are thrilled to announce that Kalas Sportswear have come onboard as headline sponsors. They will be providing prizes for each of the races, as well as some snazzy jerseys for overall.

The Kalas South West Women’s Race Series is run by volunteers to raise the profile of women’s racing in the South West. The series contains 12 events through out the year, covering road races, time trials and criteriums. The friendly atmosphere, stiff competition and range of events encourages riders from all disciplines to take part.

The Series kicks off tomorrow at CSSH Modbury Spring Road Race, a 40 mile race on a testing undulating circuit, with technical sections and an uphill finish. This first race is set to provide an exciting start to the series, with a strong field entered already and entry on the line available.

2014 looks like it’s going to be another cracking year for the series. The race organisers have raised the bar providing higher quality races and we’re already seeing bigger fields then ever!
