Product News – Raleigh gift merchandise now available

Raleigh has drawn on its history to produce a new range of gift merchandise that will be made available through its giftware partner Paladone.

Raleigh has designed a range of products that draw on some iconic moments from the company’s 127 years of cycling heritage. The Raleigh Notebook and Drinks Flask use a classic image from the 1890s of the first world cycling champion, AA Zimmerman, who took the Raleigh name to glory in exhibitions and sprint competitions in North America and Europe.

The enamel mug, two ceramic mugs and tin lunchbox take their cue from the 1950s with the “all-steel bicycles” imagery. And of course, no Raleigh gift set would be complete without the bikes that shaped a million childhood memories. These Chopper and Burner mugs are sure to be collectors items, just like the bikes themselves.

Raleigh Marketing Manager Ben Hillsdon said: “Raleigh is one of the most famous bike brands in the world so I’m certain these products will have huge appeal. This is an exciting project and I’m proud to see these products featuring in the gift sections of high street stores.

“This merchandise range is one of several projects we’re working on that bring the majestic Raleigh history back to life with fun, contemporary projects.”
