East Londo Velo, the club staffing stage 1 of the Condor Cycles London 3-day at VeloPark, Stratford, were more than please when their ride Wayne Crombie broke clear of the five leaders with three one-mile laps to go to come in alone.

So for evermore he will be the very first winner at VeloPark as this was the first race on the new circuit constructed alongside the London Olympic Velodrome. The pace was well over 25mph and rapid when considering the field were 2nd and 3rd cats, although Wayne admitted that for the past two seasons he has only just missed reaching 1st cat.
