Team RL360 Isle of Man is holding its popular “rider of the month” competition again this year and winner for this month is Zac Walker.

News – Team RL360 Isle of Man’s Rider of the Month award for Walker

The competition, which is now in its ninth year, runs from April to August, with the lucky winners receiving a commemorative trophy and £50 in cash. Ten year old Zac Walker has been named as the inaugural recipient of the award for 2014.

The talented youngster has made an impressive start to the season at home and away. In the Tuesday night youth league at the NSC he is unbeaten in the two classes he competes in, while in the recent Isle of Man Youth Tour he finished an excellent third overall in the under 10’s age group. Off-Island, Zac picked up the silver medal in the North West Youth Championships in Southport, just losing out on the gold in a very close sprint finish with his breakaway partner James Higham (Eastlands Velo).

Zac was delighted to receive the award and can now look forward with confidence to his next big challenge, the North West Youth Tour on the 24th-26th of May.
