tom sykesThe Ely & District CC/ JT Cycles 2014 Sheriff Cup will be held by club member, Tom Sykes, who recorded a time of 59 minutes and 47 seconds on the Witchford – Chatteris – Witchford course on Tuesday 20th May, 7 starters took to the start line for the 25 mile event, coming home in 2nd place was Phil Gosling in a time of 1:02.27.

Club Chairman, Martin Holland, said after the event “Well Done to Derek Ricketts and Chris Brown, who rode their first 25 mile TT tonight, and to Phil Gosling, for taking 2nd place in only his second 25″

The same evening also saw a 10 mile event, with Ely Rider, John McAndrew taking first place from Lee Desborough, St Ives CC, with a winning time of 23 minutes and 20 seconds, with Desborough coming in with a time of 24 minutes and 4 seconds.
