The 2nd race in the summer series with 17 riders starting, after several riders attemps to break away Dick Naylor (Abellio S.F.A.) finally broke away at the half way point and held it to the finish and to win by 24 seconds ahead of the bunch, with Dick’s team mate Geoff Wiles (Abellio/S.F.A.) winning the bunch sprint.

With only 24 riders starting, way down on the previous week start list but a quality field at that. After the first lap two rider had broke clear of the bunch Jason Fitchew (Ford CC) & Ian Watson (CC London) this lasted a few more laps until the master of the break aways Antony Wallis (Ciclos Uno) left the bunch cought the two man break away and went straight past them. Antony Wallis then went on to lap the field by the half way point, to win by 25 seconds from a group of four rider who managed to leave the bunch in the last few laps.
