Ridley has a strong heritage and sterling reputation with Cyclocross, with World titles, several national titles and wins in all the major series as Super Prestige, GvA/Bpost and the UCI World Cup giving the brand an unrivaled track record in cyclocross. To partner with the UK’s leading Cyclocross team is a natural progression of the success that Ridley has seen within Cyclocross.
Hargroves Cycles RT is a cycling team dedicated to cyclocross and helping youth riders to reach their potential in the sport. This is an aspect which the race team and Ridley share making it a true partnership. As the team continues to strive to move their already successful Cyclocross team onto the next level. Cylocross is a growing discipline in the UK and one that both Hargroves and Ridley are very keen to remain at the top of, in turn creating a team that many riders aspire to be a part of.
There is an opportunity for a Woman, Junior or youth rider to join the team in the upcoming season interested parties, please contact Hargroves Cycles. The team will be competing on Ridley X-Night frames. The X-Night was designed to be a superlight bike that meets the high demands of the Pro peloton regarding stiffness and durability and has already garnered a sterling reputation on the international Cyclocross circuit.
Ian Field, National Elite Cyclocross Champion, says of the new team’s steed, “I’m really excited to be riding Ridley bikes in the upcoming Cyclocross season. The brand has a long and successful history in the discipline and they have developed the X-Night over a number of years into a fantastic frameset”.
