Another fantastic evening of racing took place under calm Cornish Skies at Perranporth. Cat 4 is always a mixture of riders but it was great to see Peter Barlow achieve success after a break due to a racing accident and in third place was Simon Clark who was returning to racing after a “break” of 16 years!

The E/1/2/3 was dominated by Bikeshed UEX with Alex Murison and Peter Medhurst who took 1st and 2nd, although they appeared to have gone to sleep on the last lap and were nearly caught in the home straight! Cat 3/4 saw success for Miles Earl of Rutt CC.

Emily Attfield 1st Chard Wheelers showed her strength in the women’s race winning comfortably. It was great to have visitors from the Isle of Man. Both boys showed the strength of riding in in the Isle with Micheal Moss and William Draper winning their respective races.

Great to see both promoting clubs well represented. PZ Wheelers had riders in the Cat 4 and 3/4 and One and all were really well represented throughout the youth racing . Next edition race 7 is the 6th August.
