Ely & District evening Time Trial for the Cox Cup saw Tom Sykes fastest

Ely & District/JT Cycles CC latest evening TT was for the Cox Cup, a cup that was donated by former club member Marc Cox, in memory of his father, 21 club member took to the start line at Witchford, and it was Tom Sykes recorded the quickest time, finishing in 21 minutes and 51 seconds, runner up was Rob Golding, 22.07 with Cliff Loveday in third with 23.23.
Club chairman, Martin Holland, said after the event “Congratulations to Tom for taking first place and adding the Cox Cup to the Sheriff Cup, lifted earlier in the season, but also very well done to Julian Whitechurch for recording a time of 29.34, to record his first under 30 minute time, overall a good night with a good proportion of 23 & 24 minute ridesâ€.
