Sunderland Clarion CC are proud to be hosting crit races at Hetton Lyons Country Park on Saturday August 23rd. This years racing is the third season in a row that the club have hosted closed circuit racing at the track in Hetton le Hole, with this year looking set to be even better. With a guaranteed prize fund of £400 being put forward by Mike Bell Plumbing and Heating, and Wearside Plumbing Supplies.

The days racing will begin with a regional B 3/4 race at 1pm, which will see riders racing for 45 minutes for the days honours. The highlight of the day will be the hour long National B E/1/2/3 race starting at 2pm, which is expected to attract a strong field to battle it out for victory. Online entry is £10 for both races, with a £12 entry fee on the day.

Hetton Lyons Country Park, Eppleton Quarry, Downs Pit Lane, Hetton-Le-Hole, Houghton Le Spring, Tyne And Wear, DH5 9AR
