Giordana Pro Cycling announce their team for the Tour of Britain led by former Irish RAS winner Marcin Bialoblocki

Just in this morning from team manager Bill Nickson, who rode for TI Raleigh in the 70’s and among his many victories were the Manx International, British Road Championship, stages in the Milk Race, Lincoln GP and many many more (check out his palmeres here )

The team selected for the Tour of Britain is:

Marcin Bialoblocki
Nathan Edmondson
Steve Lampier
Brad Morgan
James Moss
Rob Partridge

Bialoblocki has won the Irish RAS in the past and whilst 2014 hasn’t been perhaps as stellar a year as he had in 2013, he is well known for his ‘engine’ and ability to ride across gaps.

Steve Lampier (above) had a great ride recently in RideLondon Classic, holding on to the coat tails of the hitters when they caught his break late in the race and winning the King of the Mountains title at Prudential RideLondon in August.

Rob Partridge meanwhile has finished the Tour of Britain before high up the overall standings, eighth and top Brit in the 2010 edition and is very much one of the most expereinced riders in the race.

These three will have great support from the North East’s James Moss, Nathan Edmondson and Brad Morgan.
