Phill Chinn from Fareham wheelers and organiser of round 5 of the Wessex cyclocross league on October 5th says his club are returning to the YMCA Fairthorne Manor venue for the first of two rounds that the club are promoting this season after a successful first foray into organising and promoting a round last season. A first for his club.

“I’m very keen to try and get more members of the club riding cyclo-cross” he told VeloUK “but also from other riders south coast clubs”.

The YMCA Fairthorne Manor venue is a great site with a varied amount of terrain to choose from and fantastic facilities including plenty of parking, hot/cold food and drink with a licenced bar. There are also hot showers and changing areas and plenty of toilets.

There is pre entry here or riders can enter on the day (Oct 5).

Fairthorne Manor, Curdridge, Southampton, SO30 2GH

Racing starts at 11 for the Under 12. Final race for Seniors etc at 2pm. Entry £10 online or £12 on the day.
