Round 9 of the WTTA Hill Climb Series was last Saturday hosted by University of Bristol Cycling Club on the very local and popular Belmont Hill and won by Ben Davis

Round 9 of the series was last Saturday hosted by University of Bristol Cycling Club on the very local and popular Belmont Hill. It was the first open hill climb organised by the Uni and 68 riders lined up on the start line, an impressive feat in itself.

Ben Davis – BH Solidor WAM Youth won another hill climb to add to his tally.
Kate Baker – University of Bath CC won the Ladies event, her second in the series.
Adrian Lawson – Cadence RT was the fastest of the Vets once again
George Jones – Clevedon & District RC was the fastest Junior

But the biggest shout out must have to go to Joanna Knight from Bristol South CC who did an impressive time for a Vet Lady nearly beating the youngsters and showing them how its done.

The last 2 rounds of the series is this weekend so it’ll be a bunfight for top placings as well as in the café afterwards.
