Team News – Spanish rider for Starley Primal

The Starley Primal Pro Cycling team has received international interest and will partner with Spanish team, Controlpack for the coming season. The British team will give riders from the Spanish team the opportunity to compete in elite races across the UK and has already signed Adrià Moreno Sala to strengthen its 2015 team roster.

Moreno SalaMoreno Sala has an impressive palmarès and this year has recorded five high profile victories in the Volta a Lleida, Volta Garrotxa (overall and two stage wins) and in the La Catalana Championships. He was also third overall and won the King of the Mountains jersey in La Vuelta León.

The Spanish rider achieved a further 20 top ten positions during the 2014 season. James Smith, Starley Primal’s Team Manager, is delighted with the new development and he said: “Our new partnership with Controlpack will only help to continue to add strength and depth to the domestic elite racing scene and we look forward to working with the Spanish team over the coming year.”

Controlpack Team Director and former Spanish UCI ProTour rider, Rafa Casero is looking forward to working with Starley Primal and he added “Our new partnership opens the door for Spanish riders in Controlpack to step into a professional team.
