The London based Team will have again in its ranks, the current 50 and 10 mile TT champion Hayley Simmonds, the Italian Jasmine Dotti, London based Jennifer Crouch, track and road rider Hayley Edwards and the 2014 winner of the Irish National League Amy Brice from Belfast. Abbie Dentus will also compete part of the 2015 season with Team Velosport.

Mauro Pizzol, Team Manager “We are extremely happy that our main partners Velosport and Montegrappa will continue to support our Team next year. 2014 was our team’s first year in Women’s cycling, and was a huge learning curve. Despite the challenges of being a new Women’s Team, we achieved some important results including 14 wins, two podium finishes at the Tour Series and the 9th place in the Belgium classic Gent Wevelgem.

For 2015 we needed to create a more efficient and simpler project. We will partially move our focus towards the domestic series such as the Tour Series, National Women’s Road Series and the National Elite Circuit Series, while still providing essential UCI experience to our riders through a good number of UCI races in Europe”.

“We might add one more rider to our line up which we will decide on during the next month. Our riders are extremely motivated and the whole Team can’t wait to start racing”.

The International racing season for Team Velosport will start in early March in Belgium, followed by a training camp in Italy in the beautiful Prosecco area from the 19th of March, where supporters can also join the Team.
