The North’s East’s only Winter Series organised by Velo29 Events will kick off this week at Croft, Darlington on Saturday

It’s the 5th edition of this popular series attracting riders from as far afield as Cambridge and Aberdeen! The racing opens with GO-Race/ 4th Cat (with BC points) followed by the new for 2015 Ladies only race. The Motor Circuit of Croft is fast and safe, it’s really wide with good visibility. Even in bad weather the racing goes off well. It’s 2 mile circuit, there is parking and toilets available, it’s just off the A1 and there are some tasty homemade cakes available for after the race!

The main event is the E/1/2/3/4 which goes off at 12:15, it’s always a good mix of 4th cats right through to some local Elites. There are prizes in each race as well as a series prize and a junior prize this year. Typically over 100 riders take part in each round making for some great fun, good value racing.
